The German based hard rock legends MAD MAX from Münster, are looking forward to the re-release of their early works, two important documents of the early metal scene in Germany. MAD MAX first appeared on the scene in 1981 with the 4-track EP “In Concert,” followed by their legendary debut album “Heavy Metal” the following year. MAD MAX were thus pioneers of a new German hard rock and metal scene, which until then had only known THE SCORPIONS and ACCEPT, at that time still strongly influenced by the NWoBHM and bands such as JUDAS PRIEST, SAXON, and IRON MAIDEN. Both works are now being released together, remastered by Rolf Munkes (CREMATORY a.o.), as a new edition on CD, LP, and digitally. There will also be unreleased photo material, a detailed history, liner notes, and many more surprises.
