“A Noise Severe” is the second official DVD release by the Dutch Goth / Rock group The Gathering and the follow-up for the award winning DVD “A Sound Relief”. Whereas “A Sound Relief’ showed the more subtle side of the band, “A Noise Severe” reveals the more rock - orientated side of The Gathering. On March 24th 2007 The Gathering performed an unforgettable live show at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago Chile, with their former line-up, before the departure of singer Anneke van Giersbergen. The concert was electrified by the overwhelming response of the Santiago audience and the band with Renй Rutten ( guitar ), drummer Hans Rutten, Marjolein Kooijman ( bass ) and Frank Boeijen ( keyboards ) played more inspired than ever...
