The greater the success, the greater the demand for albums that are out of stock... Italy's Melodic Techno Thrashers ELDRITCH are aware of this dilemma and have decided to rerelease their successful 1998 album "El Nino". After almost ten years one of the most important ELDRITCH albums is reissued, of course overhauled and enhanced with six bonus tracks. "El Nino" has to be pointed out because while listening to it, you notice the quintet developped significantly on it, musically as well as style-wise. Before this record, bands like QUEENSRYCHE or FATES WARNING were the main influence - on "El Nino", METALLICA-, CORONER- or ANNIHILATOR-influences do also appear. At that time, the stylistic change was received very well by the media and the fans, and the broader musical horizon provided a fresh breeze in the soundscape of ELDRITCH. That this courage pays off is proven by the fact that ELDRITCH are constantly playing on all renowned Metal festivals. Three appearances on "Gods Of Metal" Festival, headliner on Chicago Powerfest (USA) in 2006, and Evolution Festival 2006 in Italy, too. 2007 they performed on Sweden Rock Festival, and on numerous other festivals. But touring also is no foreign word for the innovative Italians, who have already shared the stage with THRESHOLD, ANGRA, PAIN OF SALVATION and the like.
