MIDDIAN might still be an unknown name, but their band leader is no newcomer at all. After US doomsters YOB called it quits last year due to line-up problems, mastermind Mike Scheidt wasn’t exactly thinking of retirement. In his head he was already assembling his new project: MIDDIAN!
Angrier the YOB, and with more punk and stoner influences, but with its roots still firmly planted in slo-mo-doom, his new behemoth crawls through the speakers like dirty molten lava, grabbing the listener and pulling him down into the depths of cosmos.
Featuring a guest appearance by Ben Ward (ORANGE GOBLIN) and noise samples by THE MONSTERS OF POT, the trio’s debut “Age Eternal” is a right delicatesse for all doomsters, sludgers and stoners of this world!
