NEMESIS is what later on became CANDLEMASS. This is their one and only album under that name before they released the classic ‘Epicus Doomicus Metallicus’ album as Candlemass. Here you find bandleader and songwriter LEIF EDLING also handling the leadvocals.
The album has been remastered and the booklet has been completely re-done with linernotes from Leif Edling. It also comes in a nice slipcase.
After Leif Edling dissolved the band Nemesis, he started his own band under the name Candlemass. The first Candlemass album was Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, released in 1986 and now considered a milestone in the doom metal scene.
