DORO Pesch has always been a fighter. A fighter who stands for what has importance to her. For more than 20 years she has been an icon, a leading role in the music scene who gets respected by fans and colleagues equally.
As DORO celebrates her 20th anniversary during a spectacular show in Dьsseldorf `s sold out Philips Hall in 2003, thousands of fans from all over the world as well as numerous musicians are cheering up for her.
Also over the following years success stays with Rock Queen DORO. With the release of her current album “Warrior Soul” in March 2006 DORO can celebrate another triumph. The album enters the German national charts on position no. 27 and stays there for several weeks. Also the European tour in spring 2006 is almost completely sold out.
With the song „She `s Like Thunder“ DORO writes another fighting hymn for her friend and boxing world champion Regina Halmich. Several TV shows followed as well – shows such as SAT1 „Hit Giants“, SAT1 „Clever“, several Saturday night shows and guest appearances during Halmich `s boxing matches give proof to DORO `s popularity. In September 2006 DORO is also invited to RTL `s „Chart Show“, where the 50 most successful German female singers are honoured.
In November 2006 a spectacular release is approaching: the „Warrior Soul Winter Edition (20 Years A Warrior Soul)“ offers, in three different configurations, a view over the career of one of the strongest and most interesting artists of all times. The limited DORO fan box that was sold out just days after the release. Not only this was prove that the Metal Queen from Dьsseldorf is still on top of the game!
Now we have the release of “All We Are – The Fight”. The song was originally one of THE Metal anthems of the 80ґs and fans asked for a re-issue over and over again. Surprisingly the 2007 version of the song didnґt lose a bit of the originalґs magic. DORO even performed the song live for her friend, the female boxing world champion Regina Halmich, at the “TV total fight night”, with over 10 million TV spectators watching the clash of Halmich and the well-known comedian Stefan Raab. Now itґs up to DOROґs fans to grab this “value for money” release, including 5 songs and 5 video clips.
