It’s no secret that the most outstanding black metal bands have always hailed from Norway, ever since the early nineties. While in the past years German bands like Dark Fortress and Endstille have enjoyed a certain degree of success and international attention, it’s SONIC REIGN who will put Germany on the black metal map once and for ever! Like other legendary artists in this genre (SATYRICON and DARKTHRONE come to mind), SONIC REIGN work exclusively as a duo and celebrate a hate-drenched ceremony that will delight fans of the aforementioned bands. Fast, ferocious and vehement, yet still grooving, the band slash their way through your ears, not sounding contrived in the very least. This is not a cheap copy or a tame, lame, plastic black metal band – forget keyboards and clean vocals!
