At last, the new studio album from, quite simply, one the most important metal bands today – Lamb of God! SACRAMENT, is out on October 9th and was produced by Machine (Clutch, King Crimson, Pitchshifter). It boasts 11 mind-blowing tracks and includes the track “Redneck”, that is quintessential LOG.

Hailed as “Heroes of New American Metal” by legions of fans around the world; this Richmond, VA 5-piece continues to break ground with their unrelenting sound. Smart, skilled musicians, LOG first came to the metal forefront with their Prosthetic Records release, As The Palaces Burn in 2003. The next year saw their major label debut, Ashes of the Wake on Epic which was met with high praise from critics and fans alike. Declared “the future of American Metal” by Revolver magazine, their 2005 live DVD Killadelphia captivated viewers with it’s honesty and raw live footage, and was certified Gold a few months after it’s release. Now with Sacrament, LOG’s signature sound continues to transcend the genre and push the musical envelope.

The band are currently on The Unholy Alliance Tour in Arenas in North America (with Slayer, Mastodon, Children of Bodom and Thine Eyes Bleed.). As previously announced the tour arrives in the UK in October.

There will also be a CD/DVD deluxe edition will include over 90 minutes of special behind the scenes footage of the making of Sacrament. The footage documents the past 8 months in the life of Lamb of God, giving fans a very personal look at the making of Sacrament. From riff to final mastered song this is a must-have for fans, containing an hour of behind-the-scenes, in the studio and interviews with each band member. In addition, it will also have director’s cut versions of 2 videos from the forthcoming CD.
