Hailing from Canada, Voivod are possibly the most creative band to master the metal form still to this day. Crossing over from Industrial, Avant-garde to Progressive and Metal!! Their legacy, complete with incredible recordings that finds a creativity unlike any other of their peers and followers, culminates near 20 years of sheer inventiveness and recording genius. And even during less productive or chaotic years, the essence that fans immediately fell in love with still always rises to the surface – the Voivod entity always intact and in focus.

Voivod's ninth studio album “Phobos” follows the same path the band laid down on 1995's “Negatron”. Fans of extreme metal sounds will enjoy this album!! Also featuring two bonus tracks. The first song, "M-Body," is a Jason Newsted original. The second is a cover of the King Crimson song "21st Century Schizoid Man," which is tailor-made for a metal band like Voivod!
