DARK AT DAWN startet their career in 1993. Founded by Buddy Kohlrausch and Torsten Sauerbrey the band soon created their own style, a path they followed untill this day. You have to give the band credits for their unique sound. No other band combines classic Heavy Metal tunes with Gothic
infl uences and rough vocals like these guys do.

After two demos, one self-fi nanced production and winning a couple of musical competitions DARK AT DAWN released their debut “Baneful Skies” on Iron Glory Records. He reactions of the music press were enthusiastic right from the beginning: high rankings in the soundchecks of Rock Hard magazine, Metal Heart and Heavy, Oder Was?! followed and secured that the big festivals like Wacken Open Air showed their interest and let DARK AT DAWN perform. The critically acclaimed successor “Crimson Frost” once again showed the band in great shape.

Then, after parting ways with Iron Glory Records and signing with AFM Records, DARK AT DAWN released their next album “Of Decay And Desire”. The new bandlogo, designed by famous Cover Artist Thomas Ewerhard, showed the band from a more professional side than before. Now DARK AT DAWN are back with a new album, simply entitled “Dark At Dawn”, and showing the band on the peak of their creativity. This band has not to be afraid of comparisons...
