Artist: KAMPFAR
Album: FRA UNDERVERDENEN + MCD “NORSE” RE-RELEASE (CD)

Release date: 1999/ 2006
Media type: CD

KAMPFAR's music is inspired by nordic natural beauty, folklore and myths. It is dark, cold, menancing, and yet alluring in a unique way. KAMPFAR was never a band to follow trends and the commercialization of Black Metal left them unimpressed. These Norwegians belong to the forerunners of the genre, though they cannot be compared to any one specific band. KAMPFAR does not place the most importance on speed, as do others, but rather on expression and content.

Fra underverdenen" was the second full-lenght album. Released and recorded in 99.
This is a much darker path than kampfars debut. but still a wery special sound than can only be kampfar. this album have also been sold out since 2002 so its a huge demand for this release too.

"Norse" was recorded and released as a minicd before the "fra underverdenen" as an appitate for the album. The song norse have become the ultimate sound of what kampfar is has been and will be in the future! This is NORSE PAGAN METAL!
