TIME REQUIEM is a project band of erstwhile MAJESTIC keyboard player Richard Andersson. The band also incorporates virtually an entire MAJESTIC line-up with singer Apollo Papathanasio, guitarist Magnus Nordh, bassist Dick Lovgren and Peter Wildoer on drums. Papathanasio had prior experience with FAITH TABOO, Lovgren with ARCH ENEMY and IN FLAMES and Wildoer boasting a heritage with ZANINES, AGRETATOR, DARKANE, GARDENS OF OBSCURITY, ARCH ENEMY and ARMAGEDDON.

Singer Apollo Papathanasio joined GARDENIAN in early 2003. The band pairing of Richard Andersson and Peter Wildoer helped form up the all star PETE SANDBERG fronted SILVER SERAPH band project in 2002. Andersson debuted an ambitious solo project in 2003 SPACE ODYSSEY, issuing the album 'Embrace The Galaxy'.

Papathanasio was also to be found fronting SANDALINAS, a joint Spanish / Swedish collaboration centred on guitarist Jordi Sandalinas. The singer would also guest on VITALIJ KUPRIJ's 2005 opus 'Revenge' and in November joined Greek outfit FIREWIND.

A further TIME REQUIEM opus, entitled 'Optical Illusion', emerged in 2006. Featured on lead vocals would be former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and GLORY vocalist Gцran Edman. Also participating alongside project leader Richard Andersson would be SPACE ODYSSEY and ASTRAL DOORS guitarist Magnus Nilsson, bassist Andy Rose and drummer Jцrg Andrews. Andersson also contributed a guest session to ANGTORIA's debut album 'God Has A Plan For Us All'. Papathanasio provided session vocals for EVIL MASQUERADE's May 2006 album 'Third Act'.
