- 2006 VERSION INCLUDES 4 BONUS TRA CKS [!]
Following his departure from the Heavy Metal masters Helloween (his stint with the German band lasted from 1987 to 1993), legendary singer Michael Kiske disappeared from the music scene for a couple of years. In 1995 he appeared again: first as a guest vocalist in Gamma Ray's “Land of The Free” record and not long after with his first solo album "Instant Clarity".
This album sees Michael Kiske joining forces with his former band-mate Kai Hansen, who is a guest guitarist in the album, together with Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden). Both musicians contributed to the songwriting as well. The music on the record can be described as Hard Rock, with a wide range of different influences. Kiske’s vocals vary from emotional low and mid-range ones to really wonderful and clean high-pitched ones. As a whole the album got excellent critics and was very well received from all fans of Michael Kiske's voice and songwriting.
This 2006 reissue adds to the original tracklisting three brand newly recorded tracks (I Don't Deserve Love, Sacred Grounds and Can't Tell), plus the original Japanese only bonus track “A Songs Is Just A Moment”. All Kiske fans should not miss the opportunity to complete their collection and also Classic Rock and Hard Rock fans should re-discover this album since it shows a different and new Kiske inspiration from the Helloween years.
