Slowly and very meticulously Mendeed gained notoriety for their full on blend of MAIDEN meets SLAYER with an added touch of AVENGED SEVENFOLD influenced metal. After initial promising releases through Copro Records and Mark Daghorn's Rising Records MENDEED stroke the attention of German based NUCLEAR BLAST. The band has recently been suporting a couple of high class acts such ANTHRAX, CRADLE OF FILTH, SLIPKNOT and TRIVIUM just to name a few, and there are still more touring to be done.

Since the release of their Rising debut mini album "From Shadows Came Darkness" in September 2004, tracks have been played on all the major rock and metal radio stations and a live session was recording and aired on BBC Radio 1 Rockshow. In December 2004 the hard work put in by the band was awarded when the video for the forthcoming single "Ignite The Flames" was added to the playlists of MTV 2 shows "Headbanger's Ball" and "120 Minutes" aswell as constant rotation on Scuzz TV.
Relentless touring and intense live performances up and down the country has made them one of the tightest bands on the UK scene and have seen the band gained a lot of new fans.

The critically acclaimed releases which followed: “Act of Sorrow“ (CDs / 2005) and “Beneath a Burning Sky” (CDs / 2005) were only tasters of what was to come with the release of their first full-length album "This War Will Last Forever"! Produced by Mark Daghorn, there is no doubt that this album is indeed a true masterpiece! A straight up balls out metal band with the added dynamics of hardcore, harmonies and solos set them apart from the others. Comparisons drawn to METALLICA, PANTERA, SLAYER, IRON MAIDEN, KSE, UNEARTH and IN FLAMES show that this modern Scottish metal gang is indeed a unique force.

Since April 2006 MENDEED now have signed to NUCLEAR BLAST Records for the world outside of the UK. And yes, itґs no lie that both parties are extremely excited and look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship!
