REDEMPTION was a 2001 studio project endeavour engineered by guitarist Nick Van Dyk. Also involved would be vocalists Ray Alder of FATES WARNING and ENGINE and STEEL PROPHET and TARAXACUM man Rick Mythiasin. Also collaborating in the sessions would be drummers Jason Rollo of SYMPHONY X and Mark Zonder of FATES WARNING and WARLORD as well as guitarist Bernie Versailles from ENGINE and AGENT STEEL. Session musicians include guitarist Joel Decatur and bass player Chris Roy of Progressive Metal band READING ZERO.

For a live appearance at the Atlanta 'ProgPower' festival REDEMPTION pulled in Corey Brown, of MAGNITUDE 9 and SECTION 16, as lead vocalist for their set. REDEMPTION enrolled singer Ray Alder, a well known figure from leading Progressive Metal band FATES WARNING, in September of 2004. Surfacing in July 2005 through Massacre Records in Europe and Sensory Records in the USA, 'The Fullness Of Time' also saw a Brazilian release, this variant adding a cover version of FAITH NO MORE's 'The Real Thing'.
