The world is there to conquer it! Though Sencirow are still pretty young, they've already learned that by heart.
And bands such as Iron Maiden have learned it from them as well. At least Mr. Nico McBrain has been quite astonished when some promo CD was flying around his head during a show in Vienna, Austria. Sencirow he could read on its cover. It was thrown onto stage from somewhere in the front row. And his eyes were replying something like "cool, guys".
While other newcomers are sitting around and dreaming of their big break through over night, this band from Siegen, Germany, has really been working hard.
Blood, sweat and tears they've been giving since their birth in 1996 - somewhere in a little rehearsal room. There Sencirow were rehearsing for more than three years until they came up with their first self produced demo CD "Dreamspace".
Hard, without compromises and straight forward they've been working. Only taking some little breaks in between to visit some shows of their heroes - throwing promo CDs on stage. Surely not a very common way to promote a band, but a very innovative and progressing one.
After gaining several good reviews and lots of experience with "Dreamspace" the band comes up with a second self produced demo, "Crown Of Creation."
From that moment on the band's direction is clear. Straight forward they are moving. Some local live shows as a support act for Doro and Grave Digger are the results of it. And, in the end of all that, a record deal with AFM Records can be inked.
Sencirow's way further upwards seems to be sealed by that. All the gathered experiences, all the energy and the hunger to reach a bigger crowd build an explosive bubble now that is ready to burst.
Sencirow are there, ready to show the world out there how to fear: full of roughness, tightness and with the little something that is always said to be important the guys present "Perception Of Fear". A powerful, straight album in the vein of Morgana Lefay.
And again Sencirow didn't wait and dream. Without hesitating they `ve written, arranged and produced all the songs by themselves. Along with that the band has shown professionalism and self-consciousness - two traits of character that often lead to the top!
No matter if you take the powerful, aggressive headbanging track "Burn It Down", the straight and heavy grooving hymn "Connection Of Evil", the exploding "Fear" or the mystic, atmospheric "Keeper Of Souls" - the band presents a very rich and grown-up album that does not have to hide behind big names of the scene.
A fresh, but though deep going album, having grown in the field of Heavy Metal in very solid way without using any kinds of old fashioned cliches.
Have fear or don't fear them - here we go with a newcomer that exactly knows where to go!
