MAJESTY were founded back in 1997 by Tarek Maghary (guitars, keyboards,vocals) and Udo Keppner (guitars) with the clear aim to deliver their oneand only passion to the people: Heavy Metal. After diverse line up changesand tow demo tapes to final line up got completed with drummer MichaelGrater, bassist Martin Hehn and keyboarder Andreas Moll. Although using akeyboarder there is one primal thing in MAJESTY‘s sound: loud wild metal inthe vein of their musical influences such as Manowar, Iron Maiden, JudasPriest or Accept. In summer 2000 MAJESTY recorded their first professionalalbum „Keep it true“ at the House of Audio, Karlsdorf which hit the Germanmetal scene like a sledgehammer and made MAJESTY right away to thebest-known unsigned band in Germany. The big magazines showed rave reviewsand Rock Hard even presented them as Newcomer Tip! On the unsinged bandsfestival at the legendary Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg MAJESTY earned the thirdrank and were therefore invited to open the 2001 Bang Your Head! open air inBalingen. That this tremendous band would not be unsigned for long was forsure and Massacre took this raw diamond under contract end of 2001. Nowtheir first official longplayer „SWORD AND SORCERY“ is due to be releasedand MAJESTY delivery a true metal smasher of highest international qualitywhich will surely be one of the most outstanding debuts of this year. Thealbum was again recorded at House fo Audio, Karlsdorf, Germany (PC 69,Edenbridge, Axxis) and singer and producer Tarek Maghary is a realperfectionist: bombastic, epic metal tracks, a clear and pounding sound anda superb artwork by legend Ken Kelly (Kiss, Manowar) combines a must-havealbum for every real metalhead! On the song „Heavy Metal“ ex-Manowarguitarist Ross the Boss appears as guest musician. The album received ravereviews and MAJESTY were called by almost all major magazines as the bestnewcomer metal band for years! Beginning of 2003 Tarek decided toconcentrate on the vocals from now on and the band included Rolf Munkes, oneof the best German guitarists, to the line-up. In summer of 2003 MAJESTYentered the studio again to record their new album“Reign in Glory“. Thealbum was mixed by Stefan Kaufmann (UDO, ACCEPT), who is responsible for thepounding and mighty heavy metal sound of highest international standart. With „Metal Law“ MAJESTY consequently follow their path of success now! A superb Live-package with a double live-CD and a live DVD featuring all of the band‘ s classics with an pounding live-sound! In addition, with the title track „Metal Law“ a brand new studio song is included. Simply a must-have for every TRUE METAL lunatic and supporter of metal! HAIL TO THE MAJESTY!
