Ever wonder what would happen if you combined Otyg with punk? Running the gamut from Otyg's bouncy folk to an upbeat though subdued Bad Religion, “Evige Asatro” (CD1) has all the bases for this extremely niche-oriented subgenre covered. The vocals are a nice tenor, a bit more tolerable and easier to get into than Vintersorg's considerably deeper ones, with Mr. Glittertind doing both punky yells and folky croons. The instrumentation is perfect, guitar and bass tone both pleasing to my ear. Everything flows well, both as an album and within the songs themselves.

“Til Dovre Faller” (CD2) can be translated to "Untill Dovre Falls". This was written above the signatures of the people who made the Norwegian constitution in 1814. The term has later been known as "The Eidsvoll Oath". Dovre is a vast mountainrange in Norway so this symbolizes that the constitution should stand as firm as these mountains.

Both albums will now be re-released as 2-CD brilliant box including new mastering and new artwork! All music, lyrics and concept by Torbjorn Sandvik.
