Bete Noire is an album by British singer Bryan Ferry, released on Virgin Records in November 1987.
The album was co-produced by Patrick Leonard, and was intended to increase Ferry's commercial stature in the United States. "Kiss and Tell" was his only Top 40 hit in the United States; the song also appears in the film Bright Lights, Big City. Another single from the album, "The Right Stuff", was co-written with Johnny Marr and adapted from an instrumental B-side by The Smiths, "Money Changes Everything".
