- 'Steelbath Suicide' and 'The Chainheart Machine' are both albums that helped to shape the melodic death/thrash scene as it is today . Since both albums have been out of print for quite some time, the demand to see a re-issue for these from the fans has only grown and become overwhelming. It was time to re-release both albums as best as possible, with a complete artwork facelift, , a completely new design and everything remastered with some authentic bonus live recordings from that era [!]
Demonstrating the volatile nature and aggression the band had in those days, those albums were also the stepping stones for SOILWORK and there was a reason why there was such a buzz around the band, paving its path for where they are now. Few bands have mixed the aggressiveness of metal with genuinely catchy choruses to such impressive results. SOILWORK are a masterful incarnation, taking modern metal to the next level and thus generating a whole new genre of prolific music. Even the legendary metal god Rob Halford (Judas Priest) named them a band to watch for in the new millennium! Time for you all to take a trip back down memory lane and find out what started their cataclysmic career!
