Folk Black Metal band, originally branded as GLORYFICATION, heralded their arrival with the 1995 ‘Dawn’ demo. SUIDAKRA’s 2000 album ‘The Arcanum’ included a cover version of SKYCLAD’s ‘The One Piece Puzzle’. The band would undergo a complete line-up change with only vocalist / guitarist Arkadius Antonik surviving the cull, SUIDAKRA losing guitarist Marcel Schoenen, bassist Daniela Voigt and drummer Stefan Moller. October of 1999 saw the band engaging in the " Infernal Gods Of War" European tour alongside GRAVEWORM, MYSTIC CIRCLE and STORMLORD.
SUIDAKRA would sign to the Century Media label in late 2001, now trimmed down to a quartet of vocalist / guitarist Arkadius Antonik, guitarist Germano Sanna, bass player Nils Bross and AUTUMN NOSTRUM drummer Lars Wehner. However, Marcus Riewaldt, another AUTUMN NOSTRUM man, usurped the bass position for recording of the album 'Emprise To Avalon'. The band unveiled plans for an October 2002 package tour of mainland Europe as part of a strong billing comprising BORKNAGAR, SUSPERIA, FINNTROLL and WINDIR. SUIDAKRA allied themselves with GREEN CARNATION and MЦRK GRYNING for European touring in October of 2003. The album of that year, 'Signs For The Fallen', found Marcel Schoenen re-installed as lead guitarist.
The band, alongside DISBELIEF, would also be confirmed as co-headline act for the May 2004 'Demons From Hell' festival in Coburg, Germany. A new studio album, recorded at Gernhard studio in Siegburg for new label Armageddon Music, for early 2005 would be named as 'Command To Charge'. Included would be a cover version of MIKE OLDFIELD's 'Moonlight Shadow'. The band toured Germany packaged as part of the 'Wacken Open Air Roadshow' with ILLDISPOSED, REGICIDE and HOLY MOSES during May.
SUIDAKRA put in Russian gigs in St. Petersburg and Moscow during February 2006. In July the band utilised Gernhart Records studio in Siegburg to record a new work 'Caledonia', a concept album dealing with Scotland's ancient history.
