Scandinavian Folk Metal classic remastered and finally available on vinyl for the first time!

“Sagovindars Boning” shows Otyg in a lighter, more playful mood. Folk first, metal second. Medieval tones, acoustic instruments, lute and violin textures, and songs driven by melody and storytelling rather than force. Vintersorg’s clean vocals take center stage here, warm and expressive, joined at times by gentle female harmonies.

There is a natural joy running through this album. Nature bound lyrics, simple but memorable songs, and moments that drift closer to Folk Rock than Metal. Tracks like “Trollslottet”, “Mossfrun Kölnar”, and “Vilievandring” capture Otyg’s gift for atmosphere and charm, while flashes of humor and unexpected turns keep the record human and alive.

Remastered in 2025, this re issue brings new clarity to the acoustic details and vocals, letting the album breathe as intended.

“Sagovindars Boning” is a record for open ears, curious minds, and those who appreciate Folk Metal with personality and heart.
