Beyond Recognition is the third full-length album by American thrash metal band Defiance, released in 1992 on Roadrunner Records. This album marked a shift from their earlier work, adopting a more progressive style that brought significant critical success, considered by many fans to be their finest work. Former Heathen vocalist Dave White guest-stars on “Inside Looking Out.” Cover art by Ed Repka, widely known as the “King of Trash Metal Art,” adds to the album’s appeal.
