DEAD SHAPE FIGURE is a combination of aggression, physic, thoughts, joy and taste of thrash. On those facts DSF were found in 2003 and that's also what the band is today. DSF has made over 100 gigs in Finland and Baltic states in less than four years. Behind also are the successful European tours with bands Cradle Of Filth, Turisas, Moonspell and Chimaira. Some of the players have got tired along the way, but the main group has and will stay invariable through the hard times of learning to be a real metal band.

Call it stupid persistence, but the band has achieved more than most of the bands before their first record deal; played in front of 4000 people in Ukraine, driven almost thousand kilometres just to play in front of 30 people, and so on... all this self-financed and just to be ready on stage and on record when the time really arrives.

The band's music is a combination of old-school thrash taken into 3rd millennium, offering diversity and something to think about concerning both the musical and the lyrical side of the music.

New album entitled “The Disease Of St. Vitus” goes with the formula already known from debut: angry, modern thrash / death metal, this time improved sounds and songs / song structures. First single "Face On The Nails" introduces the rocking side of the band. There's also official music video shot from the song.

You want it fast, catchy and thrashing, DSF will offer the goods. Today’s modern metal comes from the land of a thousand lakes!
