LORD OF THE LOST continue their opulent musical journey with OPVS NOIR Vol. 2. The next installment of OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, released in the summer, will be released on December 12, 2025, delving even deeper into the decoding of the band's twisted inner workings. Part two of the trilogy brings the concept of hope to the wonderfully dark panorama already presented in OPVS NOIR Vol. 1.

Following the exhilaratingly colorful Blood & Glitter, which not only brought them to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 but also to number 1 on the German album charts, LORD OF THE LOST are turning over a completely new leaf with OPVS NOIR. OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 adds eleven more songs to the three-part cycle, seamlessly continuing the journey begun on OPVS NOIR Vol. 1. Once again produced by frontman Chris Harms at the historic Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, the album is another rousing testament to the sextet's unbroken versatility. The darkly catchy opening track “The Fall From Grace” immediately demonstrates LORD OF THE LOST's knack for weaving ballroom choruses with grave melodies – a skill that reigns supreme over all the songs until the final note of the album's closing ballad “Sharp Edges.”

LORD OF THE LOST is joined by scene favorites and exceptional artists from a wide variety of genres. Whether it's Lena Scissorhands from INFECTED RAIN, who refines the pitch-black “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?” with the brutal yet fragile range of her voice, or Anna Brunner from LEAGUE OF DISTORTION, who gives you goosebumps in her duet with Chris Harms on “Please Break The Silence”: every talent here is an important scene in the darkly colorful film for the ears that is the world of OPVS NOIR. Unexpected yet fittingly, Finnish rapper KÄÄRIJÄ, runner-up in Eurovision 2023, turns the “Raveyard” into a dance floor with a mélange of industrial, gothic, and rap in Finnish - as if heralding the dawn of a new genre. However, the most moving collaboration on OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 is the rousing “What Have We Become,” in which electronic artist IAMX and Chris Harms come together for a cathartic duet.

Completely fearless, LORD OF THE LOST have long since playfully risen above genre conventions and expectations. OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 mercilessly opens new doors in the band's musical palace, yet still feels 100% at home for fans from the very beginning!
