American heavy metal legends CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will release their long-awaited new double album, Good God / Baad Man, on April 3rd via Nuclear Blast. Much has gone down in the CORROSION OF CONFORMITY universe since their last album smacked us upside the head. Back in 2018, when No Cross No Crown dropped like a rock ‘n’ roll atom bomb, the tried-and-true CORROSION OF CONFORMITY line-up of Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar), Woody Weatherman (guitar), Reed Mullin (drums), and Mike Dean (bass) was still going strong. Four brothers united in a decades-long history kicked off by a roving pack of teenage punks in Raleigh, North Carolina circa 1982. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s first four albums left a permanent mark on headbangers, longhairs, and ... |

The critically acclaimed death metal band Temple of Void are back with their new album, The Crawl. While the caveman brawn of previous albums, such as Summoning the Slayer (2022), remains, there is a wider dynamic at play on the group's fifth full-length album. Now a quartet featuring guitarist Alex Awn, drummer Jason Pearce, vocalist and guitarist Mike Erdody and bassist Justin Malek, the Michiganders aren’t shying away from their non-metal influences, seeking to integrate grunge and post-punk more fully into their brutish signature sound. The singles “The Crawl” and “Soulburn” demonstrate TEMPLE OF VOID's proficiency in their death-cloaked, spearheaded attack. From the high intensity of the opening track, “Poison Icon&rdq... |

NERVOSA unleashes another round of fury on their new album, Slave Machine, out April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records. Their sixth album shows the Brazilian modern thrash metal band releasing their inner beasts at staggering speed and with formidable emphasis. Having performed at the biggest metal festivals worldwide, from Wacken to Hellfest, and making a lasting impression on fans and critics alike, NERVOSA aims to consolidate their standing as genre frontrunners. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral established as their new singer with their previous record, Jailbreak (2023), they tear through the scene with the force of a sledgehammer. Formed in 1978 in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Venom blazed a trail for a raw hybrid of punk and metal, wrapped in an overtly Satanic image that is now credited with starting the Black Metal genre, as well as being an influence on the thrash and speed metal scenes. Derided by the media but beloved of fans wanting a harder and faster fix of metal, Venom release three classic LPs in quick succession: 'Welcome To Hell' (1981), 'Black Metal' (1982) and 'At War With Satan' (1984). When Cronos returned with this solo effort, the material was still heavy with a thrash edge, but less extreme, with no hint of the black metal of Venom, save for a cover of the classic 'At War With Satan'. The line up for the recording ... |

Official re-issue of this solo effort from Venom guitarist and founder member Jeff Dunn aka Mantas. Originally released in 1988 on Neat Records (home to Venom, as well as Raven, Tygers of Pan Tang, Fist and White Spirit among others) ‘Winds of Change’ came at a time where Mantas had quit Venom and, temporarily, the music business itself. This pressing of the album comes fully endorsed by Mantas, with an extended booklet featuring many unreleased photos and images from the era, approved and supplied by Mantas himself from his personal archive. Formed in 1978 in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, Venom blazed a trail for a raw hybrid form of punk and metal, wrapped in an overtly Satanic image that is now credited with starting the Black Metal genre, as... |

With their new album ‘We Are The Gods That Tear Ourselves Apart’, NECROTTED are now taking the next step in their development and marking another milestone in their band history. As always, the long player is designed as a concept album and, with its thought-provoking lyrics, seems even more mature than its predecessors. The band has grown up and knows exactly what it wants to be. The new songs skilfully move between genre boundaries without this fluidity sounding forced. Death metal, black metal and elements from slam and core are mixed together to create an explosive blend. Thunderous blast beats and oppressive slam parts, crashing breakdowns and memorable guitar riffs – the new album has it all. The lyrics, mostly written in English, are once again accompanied by texts... |

Led by vocalist and founding member Danny Vaughn, the album was recorded at multiple studios in the UK and Europe, including Flip Flop Studios and Rockfield in Wales and from the first blues-soaked swing and swagger of “Higher Than High”, their deep appreciation for the emancipation that music brings is crystal clear as Vaughn roars: “In the space you can learn to heal/There is music that helps you feel/Higher than high&rdq... |

GAEREA is nothing short of a beautiful enigma rooted in musical extremity and utter passion. In under a decade, the masked collective, born in the Portuguese town of Porto, has navigated countless darkened shades of metal to arrive at their fifth album and Century Media debut, “Loss”. “We’ve done what we’ve always done, which is follow our instincts,” says GAEREA’s anonymous vocalist. “Yet, something tells me that on this new record, there’s elements that both our new and old fans will love, but it’s not exactly what they’ll expect us to do.” “Loss” is the sound of GAEREA continuing to define and redefine itself, incorporating elements of the band’s post-black metal past with the sharpened s... |

Gus G., the guitar virtuoso famous for his work with FIREWIND and Ozzy Osbourne, has announced the release of his fifth solo album, Steel Burner, which is scheduled for 24 April 2026. This marks his first solo album in five years and delivers a powerful blend of modern instrumental shredding with select vocal collaborations. The album takes its title from the instrumental track 'Steel Burner', which sparked the entire project. Originally commissioned by a company that builds industrial metal-shaping machines, the track was inspired by a machine called Steel Burner — an idea that ultimately defined the sound and concept of the album. Balancing instrumental firepower with vocal tracks, Steel Burner features an impressive line-up of collaborator... |

For more than 25 years, Black Label Society has stood as one of heavy music’s most unshakeable pillars, delivering album after album of blues-soaked grooves, hard-hitting riffs, and soul-baring ballads. “Engines of Demolition” makes no exception to the steady rule of unrelenting commitment to pure, uncompromising, hard rock. In 2022, Wylde was invited to honor his fallen brothers, the late great Dimebag Darrell Abbott and his brother Vinnie Paul, as part of Pantera Celebration. Writing and recording with Black Label Society over these last four years is when Engines of Demolition was born. Engines of Demolition follows the release of four singles, “The Gallows” (2024), "Lord Humungus" (2025), “Broken and Blind” (2025) and... |

More than half a century into its existence, heavy metal still prowls as a living force in the dark, and Vancouver’s SPELL summon that spirit with defiant conviction on their fifth album, ‘Wretched Heart’. Rejecting the safety of nostalgia, the band; Cam Mesmer, Al Lester, Gabriel Tenebrae and Jeff Black, step beyond retro homage into shadowy new terrain, where harmony guitars blaze like torches against the night and gothic atmospheres coil around songs pulsing with desperation, longing, and wild exaltation. Forged through the fire of the stage and shaped by trusted collaborators, this is SPELL at their most potent: dramatic, vulnerable, and unafraid of excess. From existential laments to bittersweet anthems that shimmer with both steel and sorrow, ‘Wretc... |
