The debut album from AVTT/PTTN, a collaboration between The Avett Brothers and Mike Patton. Scott and Seth Avett are the brothers behind the chart-topping, Grammy-nominated band The Avett Brothers. Mike Patton is the journeyman rock icon best known as the frontman of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle. These three are proud to unveil a new album and project. Together, they are AVTT/PTTN. AVTT/PTTN finds these three kindred spirits on equal footing as songwriters and collaborators, no one party seeming to hold greater creative influence over the other. Throughout the record, there’s an ease and musical seamlessness to how these first-time collaborators lock in with each other. After the secret labor of making AVTT/PTTN was finished, the emotional weight of t... |

WINDSWEPT return with The Devil’s Vertep, a new full-length rooted in historical documentation and stark musical expression. Inspired by The Black Book of Kremenets Castle 1747–1777, the record traces the witch trials of 1753–1754 in Western Ukraine, unfolding as a conceptual narrative across six compositions. Each track immerses listeners in a chilling atmosphere of accusation, confession, and execution, rendered through raw black metal shaped by both immediacy and conviction. The project was founded in 2016 by Roman Sayenko, best known as the driving force behind Drudkh, alongside two close collaborators. Conceived as a space for spontaneity and instinctive creation, Windswept sought to capture black metal in its most unfiltered form. Sessions were ... |

• New opus from Belgian black metal stalwarts Enthroned, active since 1993 and revered as one of the genre’s enduring forces. • Ashspawn emerges from six years of ritual creation, co-written with occult author Gilles de Laval, uniting demonology, ritual praxis, and metaphysical transformation. • Musically the band’s most ferocious and personal work to date: relentless blast beats, oppressive mid-tempos, and solos oscillating between chaos and virtuosity. With the release of their twelfth full-length Ashspawn, ENTHRONED mark a new chapter in their three-decade reign of ritualistic black metal. Conceived across six years of deliberate creation, the album emerges as both an autopsy and a resurrecti... |

"I've learned over the years that, when it comes to my own musical creativity, the truth of today is rarely the truth of tomorrow." Vindsval The wonderful 16th album from legendary Avant Black Metal paragons BLUT AUS NORD is the culmination of a 30-year vision - as mainman Vindsval connects each element of the band’s history to launch yet another intrepid exploratory evolution. "Ethereal Horizons" is BLUT AUS NORD fully realised: richer, deeper, grander, more enigmatic and simultaneously more human than ever. Intermeshing the earthen and the futuristic as a vessel for the dark dreamer, soaring and ascending to vivid realms. "Ethereal Horizons" incorporates otherworldliness from all eras of BAN - traces of churning dissonance, subtle in... |

If you are a connoisseur of hard rock and traditional heavy metal, then you should note the name Wings Of Steel, a band you will definitely hear from a lot in the not too distant future. Wings of Steel was formed when vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist/bassist Parker Halub met while studying music in Los Angeles. They both shared the same vision and musical influences and began working together to create and refine their musical sound and style that would eventually become Wings of Steel. 2019 was the year the two started writing songs together, but the band Wings Of Steel did not really exist before the release of their self-titled debut EP in 2022. “There are many, many different influences that helped to shape our sound,” explains singer Leo Unnermark... |

The new album “CHAPTER 4: RED FALCON SUPER BATTLE ! NEO PARIS WAR !!” released on Nov 14th 2025 is a collection of 13 heavy hitting modern rap-metal and hardcore anthems. It is a leaner blend of the band’s own mixture of head banging grooves, atmospheric melodies, and fast epic solos. The record was made between the band’s own studio in the Parisian suburbs, and Marseille with Florent SALFATI from LANDMVRKS, who is also featured on the second single “BACK 2 BASICS”. Rise Of The Northstar is the second French metal band after Gojira to have a song streamed +25M on Spotify with the single "Here Comes The Boom", and their video for the song “Demonstrating My Saiya Style” shot during their first tour of Japan in 20... |

On the precipice of their third decade, Hooded Menace stand not as a bridge but the pillar between two distinct realms of underground metal. The band’s seventh album is still rooted in cultish obsession with classic horrors. But with Lachrymose Monuments of Obscuration, these stewards of death-doom remain far from stuck in their ways. The Knights Templar still stand watch over Lachrymose Monuments of Obscuration. “Pale Masquerade” summons film director Amando de Ossorio’s flesh-eating muse with a fresh heap of bone-crunching chugs and death growls that reek of the tomb. While the lasting influence of Candlemass and Paradise Lost hasn’t vanished without a ghostly trace, Hooded Menace continues to break the mold. Old school heshers wil... |

When the going gets tough, metal gets heavier. SYLOSIS have always been devoted to the fine art of breaking necks, but in recent times, the urgency of their mission has grown exponentially. Still surfing on a wave of acclaim and the effusive fan response to their last album, 2023’s The Sign Of Things To Come, Josh Middleton’s virtuoso wrecking crew are poised to release their latest and best album, The New Flesh. A towering testament to destructive riffing, incisive melody and refined brute force, the band’s seventh full-length offering is a powerful showcase for the state of SYLOSIS in 2025: lethal, uncompromising, and avowedly metal as all hell. The collosal tetrad featuring Josh Middleton (guitar/lead vocals), Ali Richardson (drums), Conor Marshall (gu... |

"Neverland", the fourteenth studio album by ULVER is the sound of an escape. A journey into undiscovered lands. Following three albums – "The Assassination of Julius Caesar" (2017), "Flowers of Evil" (2020), and "Liminal Animals" (2024) – rooted in more traditional song and production structures, "Neverland" marks a new chapter in the revered Oslo band's history. "With 'Neverland' we embraced a more 'punk' spirit – more dreaming, less discipline – freer, quite simply", the band comments on the creative process behind the album. Bursts of daybreak synths and whooshes of sound set the atmosphere, before the wolves start digging into the dynamics of ambient calm and anarchic mysticism. Dreamy and transportive te... |
