Ask members of DREAM THEATER or QUEENSRYCHE about their biggest musical influences, the first name that will be mentioned in an almost reverent way will be the one of Jim Matheos’ band. What started in 1984 with “Night On Brocken” found its peak in the now legendary “Perfect Symmetry” album, which established the band as leaders of the progressive metal movement.
