Norway's Black Comedy offer their long-awaited second full-length, a work of futuristic cyber-metal incorporating elements of industrial, gothic and thrash metal. The album serves as the band's first real introduction to the worldwide masses, containing songs from past releases as well as new tracks. Features ex-Dimmu Borgir drummer Tjodalv, as well as members of Old Man's Child and Susperia.

"Instigator" was recorded at Strand Studio in Oslo Norway during 2007. The album was produced by Marius Strand and co-produced by Bjorn M. Borg. Described as a display of massive guitar riffing, powerful drums, synthetic leads and ear-shattering epic vocals, "Instigator" will contain 12 tracks and the initial pressing will come in a limited edition deluxe metal box.

The album artwork features a futuristic concept from designer Vidar Hofmo Bjolgerud at This Fading Dream Design.
