This is the brand new project put together by Steve Grimmett simply titled 'The Steve Grimmett Band'. Steve's history is nothing short of incredible, having one of the most powerful and original voices in rock. His successes include Grim Reaper who accomplished major success worldwide with three highly acclaimed studio albums along with single releases and MTV airplay. Grim Reaper music videos can often be seen on some of the music channels as well as being a past favourite on the Beavis and Butthead show.

After Grim Reaper came a brief spell with Onslaught and again there was commercial success even from that unlikely line-up. The band's debut single even charted in the UK.

More recently Steve's success came in the form of Lionsheart, a powerful melodic metal band that took places such as Japan by storm with their debut album reaching number 1 in the mainstream charts as well as a top 5 hit single.

Steve has now teamed up with Ian Nash (Lionsheart), Ritchie Walker and Pete Newdeck (The Shock, Paul Di’Anno)for this exciting new line up. Ian having played in Lionsheart with Steve being a first choice because of his natural creativity and playing talent.

In Grimmett’s own description this is the most fun and enjoyment he has had in music and feels the material speaks for itself – some of the best yet!!!
The new studio album “Personal Crisis” is due out on October 26th, 2007 and was produced by the highly rated and acclaimed Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69) and Pete Newdeck. Guests on the album are Eric Ragno (k, Jeff Scott Soto) and Carsten Schulz (Evidence One).
