- Get possessed! "The End Of The Hour" marks another heroic victory for brutal styled melodic death metal! Featuring George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (CANNIBAL CORPSE) on vocal duties [!] - ВРЕМЕННО НАМАЛЕНИЕ!! ВАЖИ ДО ИЗЧЕРПВАНЕ НА ОПРЕДЕЛЕНИТЕ КОЛИЧЕСТВА!!
Around two years ago many were surprised by the stylistic direction of PATHS OF POSSESSION. Reason: None other than the Corpsegrinder himself, the frontman of death metal kings CANNIBAL CORPSE, stood behind the mic, but his delivery was far more diverse and melodic than with his main band.
“Promises In Blood”, the band’s last album (they were already formed in 1999), sounded far groovier, straighter and more influenced by traditional metal, Bay Area thrash or Swedish melodic death than CANNIBAL CORPSE fans would have imagined. Which is a good thing, because who needs two bands that sound exactly the same, and with the same singer to top it all off?
In Autumn 2007 the new album “The End Of The Hour” will hit the racks, showing that catchy-yet-brutal tunes like “Darklands” or “Bleed The Meek” were more than a mayfly in the “here today, gone tomorrow” metal business.
Superbly produced by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL a.o.), “The End Of The Hour” is a real treat for each and every death metal fan!
