After the massive success of "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant", the career of DIMMU BORGIR has really taken off. Hailed by the press as the new kings of Black Metal and worshippped by their fans, the Norwegians are mercilessly continuing their triumphal procession to claim the Black Metal throne. On various tours, including as support to Cradle of Filth and Kreator, they proved that the success of their album was not unfounded. On stage they create a hell on earth and draw all those present under their evil spell. DIMMU BORGIR were one of the biggest successes at all the important festivals last year, appearing at Dynamo, Wacken, With Full Force, Gras-Pop and Waldrock to name but a few. As proof of their how well they perfom, the Norwegians were allowed to show what they do best on the Mainstage at Dynamo this year. Despite the afternoon slot, they were one of the most popular bands at the festival

"Godless Savage Garden", is the name of their new masterpiece which as well as two new songs includes an excellent cover version of Accept's "Metal Heart" and two new versions of tracks from their much praised "For All Tid" album. DIMMU BORGIR have also placed three live songs on the new release which were recorded during their triumphunt march through Poland at the "Metal Maniac" festival. Also along for the ride - his first live appearance with the band - was Mustis, who now reigns over the keybourds instead of Kimberly Goss.

The next album "Spiritual Black Dimensions" will be recorded in August at the Abyss Studio with grandmaster Peter Tдgtgren. But until this opus sees the light of day "Godless Savage Garden" is more than just something to keep us going, for the true Lords of Darkness will tighten their grip on your dark souls.
