Prolific Canadian Thrash outfit known for their low budget yet aggressive releases RAZOR would develop quite a cult following. RAZOR made their album debut in 1984 comprising of of vocalist Stace 'Sheepdog' McClaren, guitarist Dave Carlo, bassist Mike Campagnolo and drummer M-Bro.

For 1988's 'Violent Restitution' only Carlo and McLaren remained. New faces were bassist Adam Carlo and drummer Rob Mills. The album saw a release in Japan through Teichiku Records although as part of a strange double package with Australian act HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH.

Mclaren quit before the album was released and Bob Reid was quickly pulled in to fill the gap. The group bowed out in 1991 with the 'Open Hostility' album, the band at this juncture comprising of Bob Reid on vocals, Dave Carlo on guitar, bassist John Armstrong and drummer Rob Mills.

A double disc 'best of' set 'Exhumed' arrived in 1994 paving the way for an eventual full blown RAZOR reformation in 1997 for the 'Decibels' record.
