TUNGSTEN is gearing up to release their fifth studio album, “Ashes.” After the band was founded in 2016 by drummer Anders Johansson and his sons Nick and Karl Johansson, only lead singer Mike Andersson was needed to complete the lineup. Since then, TUNGSTEN has established itself as a true live force in the metal scene through European tours with bands like Bloodbound, Firewind, Sonata Arctica, All For Metal, and many more. But between tours and live performances in 2025, the band also worked on new material for their upcoming album, which picks up right where their 2024 album “The Grand Inferno” left off in terms of power. They entered the studio at the end of 2025, and now TUNGSTEN have completed recording “Ashes” and are ready to open a new chapter in their band’s history.
