In honor of the enduring impact of Mother Love Bone’s music, individual reissues of Shine EP and the seminal full-length debut Apple are available for preorder today with a September 26 release date! 

Mother Love Bone recorded Shine EP (1989) over the course of 5 days at Seattle’s London Bridge Studios with engineer and producer Mark Dearnley. In the latter half of 1989, Mother Love Bone recorded and produced their first and only full length album with Terry Date at The Record Plant in lovely Sausalito, California. 

From the core of the Grunge Era comes the essential landmark album, Apple, from Seattle’s Mother Love Bone. Two of its original members (Jeff Ament & Stone Gossard) went on to start Pearl Jam, but it all started here with the Andrew Wood fronted band. Available on 180-gram Remastered vinyl for the first time since it’s 1990 release, this has become a sought after fan favorite classic! Featuring the singles “Stardog Champion” and “This Is Shangrila”.
