‘Servitude’ is Eschbach's debut as singer and lyricist of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER - and the first with Knight on guitar since 2015's “Abysmal”.

After a period of deep mourning and soul-searching, Eschbach switched from guitar to vocals, putting aside his lifelong identity as a live guitarist in favour of the band's survival. Former member of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, Ryan Knight, returned to the band and took Eschbach's place on guitar. ‘We put everything we had into it and it felt right to make this album,’ he adds. "I'm proud of it and proud of the five of us. You can never please everyone, but I know this music will be a healing and positive force for those who embrace it!"
