A Black Metal act that experiments with pushing the boundaries of the genre. Borne out of a 1998 solo project of H. Ram Zet (Henning Ramseth) the band later evolved with the inclusion of bassist Solem, fiddle player Aud, drummer Kuth ‘(Kent’ of MUSTANG) and erstwhile ARTCH vocalist Eric Hawk.

RAM ZET would perform live for the first time during February of 2001. The band line up now stood at H. Ram Zet on vocals and guitar, bassist Solem, keyboard player Magnus Ostvang, violinists Ingvild Anette Stronen Johannesen and Miriam Elisabeth Renvag with drummer Kuth. The latter teamed up with THE KOVENANT on a session basis for live work in 2003. Basist Solem decamped in early 2004, being replaced by Jon Daniel.

RAM ZET, having parted ways with keyboard player Magnus Ostvang, signed to Tabu Recordings in 2005, working with producer Daniel Bergstrand on a third album entitled 'Intra'. This opus saw a US release via Candlelight Records.
