On October 30, BMG will release a newly assembled Boxed set that will work through the band’s 50 year legacy. It will do so with an ambitious 23CDs, four of which were personally curated by Mick Box, Lee Kerslake, Ken Hensley, and Paul Newton (RIP, David Byron/Gary Thain, John Wetton, Trevor Bolder). The Box, called Uriah Heep: Fifty Years In Rock, will also contain a newly remastered LP of The Magician’s Birthday (with newly reimagined Roger Dean cover artwork), two exclusive Roger Dean 2-sided art prints (one with original and reimagined cover of The Magician’s Birthday, and one for Demons and Wizards), and a 64-page book filled with photos, notes, essays, credits, and memorabilia, as well as a look back at the fifty years of Uriah Heep.

The beautifully presented box set contains 23 CD albums including 4 CDs compiled by the original members. This set also includes The Magician’s Birthday LP,  remastered by renowned engineer Andy Pearce of Lou Reed and Black Sabbath fame, with re-imagined artwork by Roger Dean, two art cards and a 64-page book featuring rarities from the band’s personal archives.

This ultimate collection of Uriah Heep albums, released between 1970 and 2019, exists for a reason. This is not the first time that the work of the mighty Londoners has been brought together of course, but never has the band’s ENTIRE career, covering EVERY album, been collected together and presented in this truly celebratory box set.
