The latest years the band broke up for a short time, but reformed recently. ACHERON are now consist of Vincent Crowley (WOLFEN SOCIETY), Kyle Severn (INCANTATION/WOLFEN SOCIETY) and Michael Estes (BURNING INSIDE). They have just recorded their first original full-length album since 1998! It is called "Rebirth: Metamorphosing into Godhood" and is the most powerful ACHERON album ever put out. The new material is 10 times stronger than the past! An aggressive Satanic force, born out of your worst nightmares! Hell on Earth! The band has signed a deal with BLACK LOTUS RECORDS for the USA and Europe. Recently Michael Estes departed from the band and was replaced by Stacey Connoly from LIFE IS LOST, who is now and official member of the band
ACHERON's past releases were always hard to find, due to poor distribution of smaller labels, especially in Europe. So the band and BLACK LOTUS RECORDS decided to release a "best of" of the band which marked the Black/Death metal with their Satanic attitude and philosophy. 32 hymns from the band's past , re-mastered and packed with killer Sinister artwork by the notorious artist Timo Wuerz. This will be a STRICTLY limited edition to 3000 copies. This is a very rare release containing the whole history of the band through music and texts.
