Always in search for a new challenge, the composer and neo-classical guitar virtuoso, now also credited as piano and keyboard player too, went another step further and brought his vision of Cinematic Metal to a new dimension: »Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus«. Seven months of composition, three months of production, over 50 days of mix, two choirs, several special guests, including Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Dan Lucas (KARO) and David Readman (PINK CREAM 69). Including 70 minutes of epic, cinematic sounding music - bombastic and dramatic as never before - the new RHAPSODY masterwork will lead the listener to an emotional and memorable journey.

The album was composed and produced once again by Luca Turilli, responsible as always for all the orchestral and choral arrangements. It was recorded and mixed at the Backyard Studios of Sebastian Roeder (BONFIRE a.o.) and mastered by Christoph Stickel (Michael Schenker’s TEMPLE OF ROCK a.o.) at MSM studios.

»Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus« is full of mystery and secret knowledge. In the track 'Il Tempo Degli Dei' you can hear the real voice of the greatest Italian psychic, Gustavo Adolfo Rol (1903-1994), reading from the pages of his diary the famous words of what he defined as »The Tremendous Law«, that quantum gate discovered by him in 1927 and allowing him to gain access to a set of supernatural “possibilities” that he used in the name of light and love. “That song is dedicated to him as he is one of my greatest inspirations”, adds the lyricist.

The first single out of »Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus« is the charming 'Rosenkreuz'. “The song tells about the legendary origin of the Rosicrucian Order and the 12 wise men, keepers of the spiritual wisdom of the Ancients and of the highest intellectual knowledge that, willing to react against the corrupted and amoral society of their time, found in the “13th one” the personified synthesis of an immortal spiritual secret reflected in the absolute and purest essence of light and love.”

It is no secret that the movie trilogy »The Lord Of The Rings« had a lasting impact on Luca Turilli, who felt honored in composing the bombastic 'One Ring To Rule Them All', inspired by a trip to New Zealand and the amazing landscapes that became the locations for the blockbuster movie. “It was an incredible sensation and I had the feeling of being suspended between reality and dream while staring at those glorious hills, lakes and mountains.”

The album ends with the continuation of the long epic 'Of Michael the Archangel and Lucifer’s Fall', this time presented with the additional title: 'Part II: Codex Nemesis'. “Since when I was a child, I was always attracted by the tales of angels and archangels”, reveals Turilli, always fascinated by the biblical tale describing the war between the army of God and Satan’s forces, with the glorious victory of light. Such original song, containing “hermetic” lyrics and deep spiritual messages and combining traditional symphonic elements mixed with modern electronic sounds, represents the latest evolution and the most “visionary” aspect of RHAPSODY’s composition. Inspired by the Apocalypse of St. John and the intimate relation between quantum physics and spiritual evolution, the music transcends past, present and future becoming the soundtrack of heart and soul beyond the illusion of time.
