After numerous tours around the world with the likes of WHILE SHE SLEEPS, OF MICE & MEN, ASKING ALEXANDRIA and many many more, BURY TOMORROW made a devastating return to the fold with their follow up offering, »The Union Of Crowns«. Taking the foundation laid down by »Portraits« and building on every aspect of that sound, »The Union Of Crowns« was packed to the brim with infectious hooks and city-levelling breakdowns. A strong theme of Monarchy ran throughout the album playing on various metaphorical and literal scenarios. This was a darker, heavier, more focused record from BURY TOMORROW but one that still retains an enormous sense of melody.

In the live arena, the band also made huge leaps with their barnstorming Download 2013 set proving a watershed for the band. This was then followed by a mainstage opening slot at Reading and Leeds and a recession-busting sold-out UK headline trek.

Having already gathered an arsenal of new material, the band then immediately set about recording what would become album number 3 with producer Mike Curtis at CDS Studios, before handing mixing duties to Will Putney (UPON A BURNING BODY, MISS MAY I, THY ART IS MURDER).

Speaking of the upcoming opus, singer Daniel Winter-Bates, says “»Runes« is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Progressing from (2012’s) »Union Of Crowns«, we've tried to capture our favourite era of Metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It's a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn't be prouder of it!” 2014 looks like being BURY TOMORROW’s breakout year.
