- New studio album by one of the most respected and acclaimed European power metal bands. A return to their roots, to the style and sound of their most successful releases “Liquid Monster” and “Soul Temptation”. Mixed and mastered my Achim Koehler (Primal Fear, Sinner, Kamelot). Cover artwork (reminiscent to the “Soul Temptation” album) by Felipe Machado Franco (Rhapsody) [!]
BRAINSTORM are one of the most respected and successful European power metal acts For their new release “Firesoul”, the band around vocalist Andy B. Franck knew exactly what they wanted: a return to what BRAINSTORM displayed perfectly on albums like “Soul Temptation” (2003) and “Liquid Monster” (2005), which are not only fan favourites but also the most successful releases in the band’s rich catalogue. So it’ s only coherent that Achim Koehler returned to the mixing desk. The result is a stunning piece of work which reunites the band’s trademarks with the masterly crafted, powerful sound only Koehler is able to deliver!
