Since 2003 Wolfchant successfully sallied forth to prove that the proverbial metal hammer does not only come out of Scandinavia. Extreme metal with timeless melodies, impulsive riffs followed by epic parts, aggressive screams and chorale chants is exactly what the listener should expect and will also leave him astonished.

Meanwhile the septett consisting of Lokhi, Nortwin, Skaahl, Norgahd, Ragnar, Sarolv and Gwern belongs to the spearhead of german Viking/Pagan Metal. Already with the first two studio albums „Bloody Tales Of Disgraced Lands“ and „A Pagan Storm“ the band was able to celebrate great success in the music magazines where the releases received raving reviews and entered various reader charts as well as an overwhelming reception at rapturous celebrated live shows in clubs and at festivals all over Europe.

With “Determined Damnation“ and „Call of the Black Winds“ WOLFCHANT were able to enlarge their international fan base even more. The new album “Embraced By Fire“ is going to be released on March 1st 2013 via  Noiseart Records. The album will include their legendary album „Bloody Tales Of Disgraced Lands“ as a bonus CD and VARG singer Freki appears on the song „Freier Geist“ doing guest vocals.
