Florida’s SIX FEET UNDER featuring legendary Godfather of Death Metal vocals, Chris Barnes, has been delivering unapologetic death metal since 1993 and are about to fire up the „Undead“ follow up.

In February 2011, Chris Barnes and SFU guitarist Steve Swanson announced that their longtime friends and band mates, Terry Butler (bass) and Greg Hall (drums), had decided to move on from SFU. Barnes started immediately working hard on new SFU material for several months with a new writing partner who turned out to be none other than Rob Arnold, lead guitarist of Chimaira. In a statement to his fans, Barnes commented „ I will make this guarantee and promise to all the fans of SFU; the new lineup will be a death metal force to be dealt with...“ This statement alone had death metal fans around the world salivating for the new material, a chance some fans soon got when the band played just over a week’s worth of dates in Europe featuring drummer Kevin Talley (Daath, Chimaira, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, etc) Rob Arnold (Chimaira) who joined the band as rhythm guitarist, and Matt DeVries (Chimaira) on bass.

Barnes again: „We are committed to taking SIX FEET UNDER to the next level of brutality“.
