EMI releases a series of Special Limited Edition Iron Maiden vinyl picture disc albums on heavyweight vinyl! Each picture disc is packaged is cut from the original album master tapes and housed in a gatefold cover with full color printed inner sleeves. The albums are to be issued in chronological order.
The year 2013 opens with Powerslave and the double album Live After Death followed by the final two titles Somewhere In Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. The series of picture discs are being released to commemorate Iron Maiden's Maiden England tour which features largely '80s material, in particular focusing on the Seventh Son of a Son album.
Live After Death is a live album recorded during the group's World Slavery Tour which stretched from August 1984 to July 1985. The album was originally released October 1985 on Capitol Records in the U.S. The tour was notorious for being the band's most arduous yet very successful.
