The Queen is back - DORO Pesch returns to the record stores. Almost four years after the highly successful album “Fear No Evil” (#11 in the German album charts) the time has come on the 3rd of August: The Queen of heavy metal will release her new EP “Raise Your Fist In The Air” via Nuclear Blast. 

Apart from the live-proven title track, the EP includes two more brand-new mega-hits, namely the powerful anthem “Victory” and the wonderful German ballad “Engel”. Moreover. DORO adds the French version of “Raise Your Fist“ as a bonus. “This is the first record for my new label Nuclear Blast”, DORO explains. “Thus it’s a very special album, because the cooperation means very much to me. So I hope that in the end the fans will love the EP and the album as much as I do” What kind of setting could suit better for the world premiere and the release of the “Raise Your Fist In The Air” EP on the 3rd of August than the world’s biggest heavy metal festival in Wacken?!

“In the beginning of August, Wacken will be in the center of attention of each and every metal and rock fan in the world again”, DORO states. ”I’m thrilled that I’ll get the chance to present my new EP to the metal heads there.”

The recordings for the “Raise Your Fist“ video clip currently take place in DORO’s second home New York. On top of this, DORO promises her numerous loyal fans even more: “Everyone who likes the EP will sure be delighted by the album with it’s 13 to 14 songs as well. I’ve put all my passion, blood, sweat and tears into my first record for Blast.“

That’s plainly audible! The EP was produced and mixed by Andreas Bruns in Hamburg, Doro in New York and for the very first time by VOLBEAT’s producer Jacob Hansen in Denmark. Soon, “Raise Your Fist” can be seen and heard live on stage – on DORO’s big European tour in autumn/winter.
