Since the late 1960s, Snowy and his characteristic guitar playing have made their mark on tasteful blues rock. Whether working with for instance Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), as an indispensible tour musician for Pink Floyd, as a member of Thin Lizzy (on the albums ’Chinatown’ and ’Renegade’), or as a highlyrespected solo artist: Snowy has always remained true to his love for excellent, handmade music.

With his various recent solo projects, Snowy has more than managed to please his loyal fanbase. His solo album ’The Way It Is’, the live album ’Live Flames’, as well as his latest outings with the Snowy White Blues Project, ’In Our Time Of Living’ and ’In Our Time…Live’ have all garnered critical acclaim as well as massive ‘thumbs up’ from his fans.

Now the busy guitarist presents a new album with his trusted band The White Flames...and it can safely be called one of his best in years! Blues fans will be delighted with tracks like ’Riding The Blues’ (Track 3), but this very varied album will also grab fans who like blues that really rocks...just listen to ’Careful Now’ (Track 7). Four strong instrumentals round off this album perfectly, as do the beautiful acoustic track ’Finding My Way Home’ and the moving ’Love Is Not Possession’.

It is very rare to find a guitarist like Snowy, who can communicate to his listener with such depth of feeling and emotion, and with such taste and technical prowess.

In 2007 Snowy played on the successful, worldwide Roger Waters Dark Side Of The Moon Tour – as of March this year, he shall be appearing in dozens of major European venues on the Roger Waters The Wall Live Tour.
