REDEMPTION – a strong word. In case of EKTOMORF it’s (again) also a strong statement. The Hungarian hardcore/thrash stars undoubtedly have recorded their most intense, diverse and strong album!
It features all EKTOMORF trademarks, but goes one step further in every direction. And it surprises. For example, “Sea Of My Misery” is a song that you wouldn’t expect from the band. Most likely you wouldn’t even recognize that it’s Zoli who is singing this slow, melancholic Rock tune. But like with everything that EKTOMORF put out you can be sure to get quality. Also the 2 video clips that the band filmed in September 2010 (for the songs “Last Fight” and “Sea Of My Misery”) display class and style and also underline that EKTOMORF have reached the peak of their career with the new album. This evolution was basically started when the band teamed up with Danish producer Tue Madsen with whom they recorded their latest few albums. This tradition continues with “Redemption” and it’s inevitable to detect that Madsen has pushed the band to the maximum. “Redemption” will give you the best EKTOMORF ever. You better believe it!
After ruling the Wacken Open Air in 2010 now EKTOMORF returns with the follow-up to their highly-successful “What Doesn’t Kill Me...” album. It’s time for “Redemption”!
