- Irelands Metal Export No. 1 delivers its 3rd out of their 4 Re-Issue Serie! This SPECIAL EDITION will be released in a DIGIPAK VERSION, COMPLETELY NEW LAYOUT and Bonus CD! Concept by by A A Nemtheanga himself. Artwork & Layout by Paul McCarroll - Unhinged Art [!]
It's hard to put the PRIMORDIAL experience into words. This Irish band has managed to establish their own territory, away from the cliches of the metal scene in general and the pagan scene in particular. PRIMORDIAL live and breathe the spirit of their ancestors, putting it into captivating creations full of sorrow and pain on the one hand and confidence and strength on the other. Perfectly balanced between slow, dragging anthems and pure metallic fury, they always manage to create a world full of enthralling myths, where mist engulfs wonderful landscapes, only to reveal them in all their glory just at the right time.
The climax of the band's work to date is their latest album, “To The Nameless Dead”, which was fanatically acclaimed everywhere and reached the highest positions at year-end polls all over Europe in 2007. The band played countless festivals and the Heidenfest tour, which was sold out nearly everywhere. After the well received "Imrama" and “A Journeyґs End” Re-Issue, here comes “Spirit the Earth Aflame” in this series of re-releases! It was originally released on Hammerheart Records in the year 2000.
This re-issue comes completely re-packaged as a double CD including the remastered album plus a full live show! Mandatory for any self-respecting heathen!
