This program captures hard-rock pioneers Vanilla Fudge performing on Germany's legendary ROCKPALAST television show during a stop on their 2004 European tour. Featuring original members Carmine Appice and Tim Bogert, the concert showcases the band's distinctive take on '60s hits like "People Get Ready," "She's Not There," and "You Keep Me Hangin' On." Bonus material includes vintage performance footage from 1967 to 1969, interviews with band members, a behind-the-scenes documentary, a collaboration with the San Fernando Symphony Orchestra, and an audio CD.

The original band perform two of their biggest hits 'Shotgun' and 'You Keep Me Hanging On', filmed in 1969 and 1967 respectively.
BONUS DVD:
* Behind The Scenes - A documentary filmed during their 2004 European Tour. After a brief look around their luxury tour bus, the group are seen preparing and rehearsing for the concert. They are then seen in the informal surroundings of a restaurant, where they engage in a light-hearted yet revealing question and answer session, after which Bill Pasrali gives an impromptu piano recital!
* Interviews - In two revealing interviews Carmine and Tim talk about Vanilla Fudge's formation and early days, life in the Sixties, their careers after the band broke up - including their days with Jeff Beck in the power supergroup Beck, Bogert & Appice - their song writing, the group's re-forming, their recent and current recordings (including their ambitious project playing with a full symphony orchestra), life on the road, modern audiences and their plans for the future. In a third interview, Carmine's son Vinny, along with members of his band The Lizzards, who were supporting Vanilla Fudge on the tour, talk about their music.
